Data Deletion Instructions

You can have the data associated with your connected social media account deleted from the Bendygo Marketing Hub at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. Revoke the connection from the platform

Removing the Bendygo Marketing Hub's access from the platform itself immediately stops all further activity on your account:

• Facebook — Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → remove the Bendygo Marketing Hub.
• Instagram — Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites → remove.
• TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions → remove.
• LinkedIn — Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services → remove.
• Pinterest — Settings → Security → Apps connected to your account → remove.
• YouTube / Google — myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → remove access.
• X — Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → revoke.

Revoking access invalidates the stored tokens. We delete the corresponding tokens and connection record within 30 days.

2. Request full deletion from us

To have all data we hold about your account erased, including scheduled and published content records and stored performance metrics, email [email protected] with:

1. The subject line Data Deletion Request.
2. The platform and the account, page or channel name concerned.
3. Confirmation that you own or administer that account.

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm in writing when it is done.

What gets deleted

• Stored access and refresh tokens for the account.
• The account, page or channel identifier and cached public profile details.
• Scheduled, draft and published content records associated with the account.
• Stored performance metrics for that account's posts.

What we cannot delete

• Content already published to the platform. That lives on the platform and must be removed there — deleting our records does not remove a published post.
• Encrypted backups, which are retained on a rolling 30-day cycle and expire automatically. Deleted data is not restored from them.
• Records we are required to retain for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
